Simple melodious and haunting tunes in which simple orchestration
blends beautifully with the mood of the songs with simple(yet, powerful) and imaginative lines that immediately appeal to your heart. If you casually listen with your ears this song will not make any impact. But if you focus your heart on the song and listen carefully you will find it a wealthy experience.
Not a big fan of P.Suseela, hardly listen to her songs for her melo voice. Very less experience of listening to her songs.Just tried to do justice with this haunting melody.In fact,not a easy song for me to render with my voice :) Plz bear with the cracky track :(

Pani vizhum malar vanam.. !

This song does not need much explanation. This is a wonderful song wherein SPB’s voice and the accompanying guitar bit are woven in beautifully making it debatable on which is sweeter. It transcends all time barriers and sounds pleasant even today. This song is better listened, neglecting the visual content in the song which is not of much significance. Similar to the “Ilaya Nila” song, this one also has superb guitar play by Raja. The way the music from the violin longingly lends itself to the end of the first two lines of the songs’s pallavi has the trademark of Raja
It’s like a dream to sing this number in such a low range, I tried my level best. Never wants to leave SPB’s rendition, Plenty n plenty to cover :D A sample of the work to see whether I was ok with this range especially with “Pani vizhum” all the time. Felt a bit a strain and lot of focus needed to do that. Pls feel free to raise your opinion on this trial !

Vani Jayaram – very challenging in conception who has the ability to scale dizzying heights without faltering in rendition. Love to render this song. its one of my all time favt.I can find only this track,I am happy ,atleast i found this. Thoroughly enjoyed singing this wonderful master piece by the one and only raja. The most beautiful lyrics by vaali :)

one is a rare gem from Hunter Harris where you find more pace and tranquilising SAX and mixing of instruments. Hariharan simply gets into it in his own style and the lyrics once again stands apart.

One of my favourite of Vaani Jayaram’s song. It was originally a ghazal by Jagjit Singh. Then on following Vani Jayaram's advice, it was played in the movie. In some notes, She has mixed with “niravals” a sublime combinations with the tune.

I just got hold to one of the golden song from Asha Bhosle and started to gel with it. Since this song was requested, in fact pressurized :D by Nandu of muziboo .Today,I have done that Nandu :) Thanks for the support on diction and I tried maximum to present a hindi diction with this song.Hope you bear with it :)
