Vaaniley Thenila..!

What ! a great composition from Ilayaraja. This movie got released in the year 1985, At that time, I was doing my ninth std. I was thrilled to hear such a wonderful composition from raja. Even now, I could remember, I used to hear this song often in my tape recorder and its night effect song. Non stop repetition of this song by switching rewind button and play button (also got scoldings from my father..!!)

Thanks to Krishna for his contribution in this song and thanking him once again for the mixing/effects.

Song: Vaaniley Thaenila

very nicely done krishna and sowmya...krishna, if possible change the voice mix for sowmya, the blend is a little odd at this point..ur voice is clear but her voice is kind of muddied...just work on that a bit...nicely done indeed

Well sung Krishna n Sowmya. I agree with Max Max on mixing corrections....brought back memories of those days with this song...

Good job Sowmya and Krishna.

Sowmya, I think your vocals had less clarity compared to Krishna's. A little more treble would do, I guess.

Nice job Sowmya and Krishna.

I agree with the some of the above comments ...Sowmya your track lacked less clarity compared to Krishna..

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the comments. I guess the mixing does not do justice to sowmya's voice and delivery. Hope to get things right next time. :)

Max, awatts, jo, harshan ->> Thanks for visiting my blog and for ur valuable comments.

Actually, the problem is at my part.I didnt keep the right volume at the time of recording. so, there was no gain in my voice.Next time, I will be aware of that. Thanks a lot for mentioning the same and i will rectify it next time.

Sowmya, this is the first time I listened to one of your songs and I regretted that I didn't do it earlier. You both hav got fantastic voice and I really enjoyed every bit of the song. Hats off to you.

As many have pointed out, there is this bit abt the clarity and I am sure it would be taken care of.

As a recent visitor I am late to add comments. Its all told. Even I like to say well done by both of you. I suggest you both to use the same recording software. And if possible the mic also. And krishna, the type of echo added to sowmya's track could have been changed (a different one applied).
Hope you might have learned by this time. And I liked the effects to that bit.Cheers...
