Aalolankili thoppile ..!

Ilayaraja’s contribution to Indian cinema and more so Tamil World is incomparable. Ilayaraja in my opinion is the most complete Musician that Tamil Cinema ever saw with his range of genres as wide as the Pacific.I am a great fan of Illayaraja not because i brought up with his songs, his music always makes the listener fresh. This song “Alolankili thoppile…” is one of the wonderful melody with great lyrics(?).Especially the flute piece by Arunmozhi take the song to the high spirit.

This is my second song with Murali venkatraman. Thank you murali, for the karoke track as well as for the good mixing.

Very good rendition. You might want to try and do away with that slight shake in your voice though.

Very good recording. Best suit for sowmya.
I really liked those bhavam. Smiling while singing worked out well.
Noticed sowmya's track bit high in volume in some places.
Murali.. no need to say... a good singer as well. Would suggest to stress clear on words (for this song) inspite of casual.
Good song.Well done.

excellent song selection. i can see the feelings good in both of you...singing is good too.

except for one thing that i noticed about the recording in sowmya's voice is different from how murali would have done. i dont know if the effects were the same for both. just that sowmya's voice could be having more volume. only at higher octaves it sounds louder and sharper for few seconds. otherwise this is a wonderful song by both of you...great going.

sowmya, like me, you are more comfortable at the lower pitches. i have trouble with higher cuz i dont have a good voice culture. i felt i should let you know this just so we can overcome this with our efforts.
